One fragrance, two variants, made in Indonesia
ALORA is a men's fragrance house from Alora Beauty Indonesia. It is bottled as a 30 ml Extrait de Parfum — the highest concentration in the family — and comes in two variants that differ in scent, in packaging, and in colour.
The names were not chosen for their sound. CALDERO is Spanish for cauldron, from the Latin calidus — "warm" — the same root as caldera, the basin a volcano leaves behind once its fire has gone. MERRIGIO is formed from meriggio, Italian for midday: not its brightness but its hour, when the heat stands still and what a person looks for is shade. Both are about heat — one keeps it, the other holds it still.
MERRIGIO works the bright side: bergamot, neroli, and green tangerine at the opening, sea notes, rosemary, and freesia at its heart, then cedarwood, patchouli, white musk, and amber closing it clean. CALDERO goes the other way: orange blossom standing almost alone, held by pepper, carried by amber and patchouli.

Both variants are built on a deliberately short list of materials. A spare composition is harder to make than a crowded one: nothing can hide behind anything else, and every weakness is audible at once.
The packaging is not an afterthought. Each variant has its own print dieline — Caldero in navy with a band of gold dunes, Merrigio in ivory with blue waves — printed on the same board, not one design recoloured.
